What actually drives the price
- Property size — more area means more chemical, more application points, more time.
- Infestation severity — an established colony needs more product and follow-up visits than early activity.
- Treatment type — gel baiting is priced differently from barrier drilling, which is priced per square foot because the labour scales with floor area.
- Warranty length — a 5-year termite warranty prices in the cost of honouring it. A no-warranty quote can be cheaper because it's a one-and-done spray.
- Product line — herbal/odourless lines cost slightly more than conventional chemicals.
Red flags in cheap quotes
We regularly re-treat homes after a "₹499 full house pest control" went wrong. Watch for:
- No inspection before quoting. Nobody can price termite work honestly without seeing the site.
- No mention of a second visit for bed bugs. Single-visit bed bug treatment fails — the eggs survive. It's not a discount; it's half a treatment.

- No written warranty. A verbal "guarantee, sir" evaporates with the technician's phone number.
